Motorola has officially launched the Edge 60 Fusion, a smartphone that blends sleek design with powerful performance. The device sports a 6.67-inch quad-curved P-OLED display, offering an immersive experience with Pantone Validated colors. The back comes in unique finishes, including vegan leather and textile-inspired textures, curated in partnership with the Pantone Color Institute.
Stunning Display
The 120Hz P-OLED screen features a crisp 1,220 x 2,712-pixel resolution, delivering sharper images than its predecessor. With HDR10+ support and an impressive 4,500-nit peak brightness, it ensures vibrant visuals, even in bright conditions. To reduce flickering at low brightness, the display uses DC dimming. It also boasts 10-bit color depth and 100% DCI-P3 coverage, all protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.
Built for Durability
The Edge 60 Fusion is tough, with an IP68/IP69 rating, meaning it can handle water submersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes and withstand high-pressure water jets. It’s also MIL-STD-810H certified, proving its resilience. Plus, the screen works even with wet fingers.
Smooth Performance with AI Features
Powered by either the Dimensity 7300 or Dimensity 7400 chipset (depending on the region), the phone offers 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage, making multitasking seamless.
Running on Android 15, it introduces Moto AI, featuring automatic audio transcription and summarization. The Magic Canvas tool lets users generate images from text prompts, adding a creative touch.
Impressive Camera Setup
The Edge 60 Fusion’s rear camera system is led by a 50MP Sony Lytia 700C sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The Photo Enhancement Engine optimizes settings automatically for the best shots, while Adaptive Stabilization and Action Shot fine-tune motion photography. The 13MP ultra-wide camera doubles as a macro lens with a 3cm close focus. Meanwhile, the 32MP selfie camera captures high-quality shots and supports 4K video recording.
Motorola’s collaboration with Pantone extends to the camera, ensuring Pantone Validated colors and SkinTone Validation for natural-looking portraits. A 3-in-1 light sensor on the back helps fine-tune exposure and prevent flickering.
Long-Lasting Battery and Fast Charging
Battery size varies by market, with 5,200mAh and 5,500mAh options, both larger than the Edge 50 Fusion’s 5,000mAh battery. The 68W TurboPower charging ensures that just 8-9 minutes of charge provides enough power for a full day. However, the charger is not included in all regions.
Connectivity and Audio
The Edge 60 Fusion supports 5G (dual SIM or eSIM), Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC. The USB-C port supports USB 2.0 data transfer. While there’s no 3.5mm headphone jack, the stereo speakers feature Dolby Atmos for an immersive audio experience.
With a stunning design, AI-driven features, and top-tier hardware, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is shaping up to be a strong contender in the premium smartphone market.
