Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer ‘War’ seems unstoppable at the box office. The high octane action-thriller has emerged as one of the most celebrated movies of the year and entered the coveted Rs 200 crore club in just 7 days.
Moreover, ‘War’ is now the 3rd-highest grosser of the year, following ‘Kabir Singh’ and ‘Uri – The Surgical Strike’. Ever since its release, the movie has been on a record-breaking spree. Now, the movie enjoys the feat of 3rd-highest all-time Tuesday collection.
According to the latest report, on Tuesday, the film managed to rake in an extraordinary total of Rs 27.50 crore due to the Dusshera holiday. With this massive figure posted on Tuesday, ‘War’ has now recorded the 3rd-highest 1st Tuesday collection of all-time, beating the likes of Bollywood films including ‘Kick’, ‘Dangal’ and ‘Sanju’. However, the major feat achieved by the film Tuesday is that it has been able to surpass the collection of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ on its 1st Tuesday.
Furthermore, the Marvel’s film which released earlier this year had remained unbeatable at many fronts. ‘Avengers: Endgame’ had collected a total of Rs 25.48 crore on its 1st Tuesday. Apart from ‘War’, Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Kabir Singh’ is the only film released this year to feature in the list of top Tuesdays. The film collected around a little over Rs 16 crore.
