On 4th June (Tuesday) in Bengaluru, a massive 64 feet tall monolithic statue of Vishwaroop MahaVishnu was brought to a temple.
According to media reports, the statue weighing 300 tonne, will be installed in the premises of Kothandaramaswamy temple in Viveknagar area of Bengaluru.
As soon as the statue arrived at the temple, large number of people started gathering at the spot to get a glimpse of the structure and to offer their prayers to the almighty.
While speaking to the reporters, Shanti, one of the devotees visiting the location said that she was very fortunate to visit the temple and to see the huge statue of Lord Mahavishnu. She had a fantastic look at the deity and said its very huge. She felt very happy after visiting the temple.
A local resident involved with the project said that the statue was transported from Tamil Nadu to the temple in Bengaluru, Karnataka. It took almost seven to eight months to transport the statue.
While talking to the media, the local resident said, “Many people worked hard and local residents from Tamil Nadu also supported the cause. Currently, the height of the statue is 64-65 feet and the width is about 26 feet.”
According to the sources the project completion and installation of the statue will take 2 to 3 years to complete, and once completed the height of the structure would be 108 feet.
