Almost all countries are banning Boeing 737 Max 8 planes from their airspaces. After the second crash of 737 Max 8 plane in less than five months is raising a lot of concern among the aviation authorities in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Australia, Indonesia, China and other countries, who have now ordered that none of the 737 Max 8 planes will fly in their airspace. Likewise, India has also decided to ban all Boeing 737 Max 8 airplanes. India has ordered grounding of this aircraft with immediate effect.
When asked about this, DGCA chief BS Bhullar told ‘TOI’, “This is to carter to situations where aircraft are to fly back to India or to go to maintenance facility for parking. All Max shut down before 4 pm on Wednesday”.
A growing number of airlines around the globe have also announced that they won't fly the planes until they know what happened in Sunday's fatal Crash of an Ethiopian Airlines Jet, which killed all aboard. The cause of Sunday’s crash is still under investigation.
