Today the Naveen
Patnaik Government has increased Rs. 200/- per month for all the beneficiaries
of the Madhubabu Pension Scheme. People who are getting allowance under this
social security scheme shall taking benefit of it from 15th February
onwards. Earlier the beneficiaries who were getting Rs. 300/- per month now
will get Rs. 500/- per month and others who were getting Rs. 500/- per month
shall now be getting Rs. 700/- per month. There are around 48 lakh such
beneficiaries who shall get this enhanced social security benefit.
With the election for
the State Legislative Assembly and the Lok Sabha nearing, the Mr. Naveen
Pattnaik has started a slew of populist measures to attract the masses and keep
the vote base of BJD intact. It is to be noted here that with a resurging BJP
to challenge the 19 years of governance record of Naveen, the BJD govt. is
leaving no stone unturned to impress the voters about the achievements of its
tenure. Very recently the CM has launched schemes like PEETH & KALIA to
keep the voters in good humour.
