Varsha Priyadarshini fans are going to be
quite excited because after a gap of one year, the Ollywood queen is back on
the silver screen with a new movie named ‘Nimki – Nimpur Ru Naveen Niwas’. Not
revelling much about the movie, Varsha had said earlier, “The film is different
from what I have done so far. Having been in the industry for more than a
decade and played a variety of roles, I feel it’s time to concentrate on women
According to sources, “The movie is based
on a village girl named Nimki, who is inspired by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen
Patnaik and the girl overcome all hurdles to travel from her village Nimpur to
reach Naveen Niwas, the residence of Mr. Patnaik in Bhubaneswar, to solve the
problems being faced by her village”.
The movie is directed by one of the finest
directors of Ollywood who is both the director as well as the writer of the
movie. The music for the movie is composed by Prem Anand and the film’s dialogue
is written by Dilip Choudury.
As the elections are nearing, parties and
politicians are busy promoting their party by all possible means. Another film
named ‘Biju Babu’ based on the life of legendary former Odisha Chief Minister
Biju Patnaik is also stated to release in the first week of April right before
the General Assembly election. Films like ‘Nimki’ and ‘Biju Babu’are made to encourage young BJD
workers and supporters who will help the party draw political mileage in the
run-up to the polls.
